Hi, I am resubmitting my query as I have changed email addresses. I used to be subbed to this list a couple years ago, under [email protected] I am now [email protected] My ggg grandparents were Mary MURPHY and Patrick GALLAGHER of the RC Parish of Myshall, Co Carlow. One of their daughters, Mary, moved with her family to Waterford. They were living there in 1856, according to a family letter. I found Mary and her husband, William DORAN in the baptismal records of the above parish in Co Carlow. There are baptismal records for 3 daughters. The info I have on the 3 DORAN daughters is as follows: Mary Ann Oct 11 1840 Sarah May 28 1843 Elizabeth Sept 30 1849 I do know that Mary Ann emigrated to the US and became a nun. Sarah may have married a HOULIHAN and emigrated to Canada. She could have married him in Waterford or in Canada. I do not know what happened to Elizabeth. Nor do i know if Mary and William had other children. I only know of the 3 girls. Basically I am stuck in 1856 Waterford, as I have not done much with this family. I'm ready to work on them again. Anything look familiar? Debbie
