I have no clue where the Power family came from. I have them traced back from OH to NY on the 1850 census then to Montreal where I have a marriage record for John Power and Margaret Molony. 4 Children were born to that couple in Montreal; one born in Saratoga, Waterford, NY; then more born in OH. On this Waterford list, I am trying to find a Michael Kanary/Canary who came from County Waterford according to his obit from OH; was born between 1838-40; and that's all I have to go on. I also know our name in Ireland was not Kanary. Michael married a Power daughter to the above couple. Lorraine [email protected]
