My husband's line has John Power married to Margaret Molony in 1842 in Montreal. His parents from that marriage record were the "late" Patrick Power and Catherine Butler. John Power may have had a brother Thomas who eventually followed John and family to OH. I cannot get the Power family back into Ireland. I belong to the Waterford list trying to find a Michael Kanary born between 1838-40. The only thing I have to go on is his obit from OH states born in County Waterford. All I know so far that that the name was not Kanary. Michael Kanary/Canary eventually married Catherine Power, daughter of the above John and Margaret. Lorraine [email protected]
