Hello Re-posting to multiple lists. Recently I found (re-found!) an O'Gorman family tree written up by my greataunt. The first generation are as follows. All born I would guess about 1820-1840. 1.Catherine, married a Coady, had 4 daughters and 2 sons. 2.Mary, married a Grant, had 2 daughters. 3.Ellen, my greatgreatgrandmother, married Patrick Nugent (1812-1895) 7 girls, 3 boys. 4.Bridget, married a Shea (perhaps O'Shea) lived at Beatin in Co.Kilkenny. Had 4 sons, names unknown, and daughters Kate (Mrs Brennan), and Johanna (Mrs Walsh). Kate had sons Larry and Mat. Johanna had 5 children. 5.John. Had 2 sons and 2 daughters. Lived at Stokem or some name similar. 6.Edmund (or Edward). (born about 1836) Lived at Mullenbeg in Co.Kilkenny, but was living in Ballinacurra Co.Waterford in 1911. Had 2 sons, one of whom was Richard born about 1885. 7.James. Married, don't know to whom. Lived at Kells in Co.Kilkenny. 8.Pat. Unmarried 9.Richard. Unmarried. Next generation. A daughter of Ellen, Kate Nugent, married a Comerford from Caherlesk Dunamaggan Co.Kilkenny. Kate had several children, one of whom (Mary Comerford) was still alive in 1977. Hoping some of this looks familiar to someone! Cheers Mick Dowling.
