Hi, I am looking for any information about the Thomas Whelan family, of Graigue(nageetha), Stradbally. Thomas rented land in the mid-1800s from Richard Jebbs and Matthew Walsh, according to Griffith's Valuation. It is possible that Edward Whelan (1796-1864) was his father. I believe Thomas' wife may have been a Bridget _____. Their daughter Hanorah was born in 1852 and she may have had 3 brothers also of Graigue, possibly one was Matthew.
