Hi Tim I can't help you with your actual query but I can inform you about some forthcoming developments with the Waterford co. co. site. www.waterfordcoco.ie We (Deise Design) are currently mid-way through designing the new Co. Library web site. As you may know the death registers and all the other databases are produced by the Co. Library Service. These databases will migrate to the new site in September. There will be two major consequences of this move. 1) The silly java applet that you currently have to use will be removed. This should make the site way more easy to use and result in less technical glitches etc. The new look for the databases will be amazon.com ish. 2) Detailed contents and how to search pages have been produced. Many of the databases have blank periods or need to be searched in a certain way to obtain useful results. The new library site should be way more intuitive to use than the County Council site. You should also see the appearance of more databases prior to the launch and gaps in the existing databases should be filled in. Hopefully it will go from a pretty cool site to a very cool site :) Yours Willie Whelan Deise Design & Dungarvan Museum ========================================================================== William Whelan | Déise Design | http://www.deisedesign.com | Phone : 086 2748377 " Our core product Déiseditor © allows organisations to publish information to their web site in a fast and cost effective manner.
