My wife's great grandparents came from the area near Cappaghquin, Modeligo parish. He was Patrick O'Donnell. He was born May 6 1849. His godparents were William Prendergast and Johanna Hearn. His parents were William and Margaret Looby. Patrick fought in the Civil War for Alabama, then ended up after the war in Boston. He married in Boston Catherine Cashman form Modeligo parish.
