Family history says that ELIZABETH MARY WEST was born in Waterford IRE ?1871 to MARY POWER or POWELL and SAMUEL WEST. Her father was supposably a policeman / soldier and died in Ireland when she was young. Mary was unable to care for the child and Elizabeth was sent to live with her father's sister Phebe Sime in Glasgow (1881 census). In 1891 she immigrated to Australia and married her Australian cousin SAMUEL SCOTT. Having difficulty tracking records and would love to find siblings. Any help much appreciated.
