If you are interested in County Waterford, the Waterford County Library web site has a name search able data base which is a Waterford County extraction from Griffith's Evaluations. When you find your name you are given the parish and townland. Find the web site of the library through Google and follow the genealogy links to the lists. You may also purchase a CD which has the whole of Ireland compiled in the same way. There are some names missing however.. The complete collection of these valuations has been filmed by the LDS Church and is available worldwide. You can search for your ancestor if you know their County, or you can browse, although this is difficult. Hard copy is available at some LDS locations, notably Salt Lake City. There is a tutorial pamphlet published by LDS which leads you through the steps necessary to find a certain name within a County. The names published are occupying heads of households only, along with their immediate lessors. Sheila MacAvoy Block
