    3. Hello List I’m looking for Catholic churches, late 1840’s, near Knockmahon which would have served people in the mining community living (from Griffith's Valuation) very near to what is today the junction of the R681 and R675! St. Mary's, Saleen, Bunmahon, converted from a Temperance Hall to a church in 1854, is therefore too late for my purposes. The only other churches that would seem to fit the bill are Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Kill, with records starting from 1797 or Faugheen Chapel - which is considerably nearer to the area I’ve identified on the map. Does anyone know the dates of the records for Faugheen chapel and if these records are available? (Neither the Waterford Heritage Centre not the Waterford County Archive list record holdings for Faugheen Chapel) Thanks, Liz
