I can only base this on my own knowledge but if it is a Chapel you seek, it may not have been able to marry or baptise people, Chapel were generally covered in as much they were known as Chapel of Ease where prayers could be carried out, but not the major things. A lot of these Chapels existed within Mining communities, as Miners and mining is a subject I have researched heavily, I was very interested in following the people who ended up at Bunmahon and surrounding area, as I was trying to ascertain where the miners from Co Wicklow went to after their mines failed, and it appears that some did end up in this area also. Also it may help if you were to give the Surname of the people you are seeking then those of us who have sources may be able to check the name out for you. By the way I am happy at any time to look at my sources to assist anyone as long as they realise that I cannot create the impossible, and I can only look.
