Liz, I think this conversation came up on the list many years ago and as far as I can remember no definite conclusion was reached. However, I believe Kill was mentioned but the most likely candidate seemed to have been Ballylaneen; about six miles north of Knockmahon on the R677 road. GPS position on Google maps is: 52.172984,-7.398992 I can't find any reference to records but there must be something possibly with the Parish Priest. It think Ballylaneen is now under the jurisdiction of Stradbally Parish.
