    1. [WATERFORD] Let's try a rollcall
    2. Janet Crawford
    3. I've let the list get quiet while Rootsweb got its house back in order again, but it is TOO darn quiet. Let's try a rollcall and see what happens. Tell us who you are looking for now, your brickwall, your latest success, your questions, or whatever else my be on your mind, genealogically speaking only. [If you are getting more mail than you would like, write me directly and I can put you on "no mail" for a while and you can read the mail from the archives.] A huge sports complex and casino has been approved for No. Tipp in Two Mile Borris, although the State law has to be changed first to allow casino betting. There will be a monster size hotel there as well. This should be interesting. The Queen has been here and President Obama has been here; both visits were exciting, and we seem to have a small revival of the "troubles" in No. Ireland at the moment, which I hope is just a symptom of the economic downturn and nothing else. 1. Re: [WATERFORD] Let's try a rollcall-Farrell, Lonergan, Donovan
    2. Chapman, Eileen
    3. My great grandfather, John J. Farrell was born in 1843 in Waterford and was one of eight children living on Barrack Street with his parents, Peter Farrell (1815)and Elizabeth (Donovan)(1820). He came to the US in 1864, fought in the Civil War, lived in Brooklyn and married Ellen Lonergan(formerly of Cashel)(1853). I have not been able to find any information on the parents of Peter, Elizabeth or Ellen. Nor have I been able to find out what became of John's siblings, Martin(1850), Frederick Francis(1847), Johana(1845), Mary(1841), Brigid(1838). Baptism records show another Mary(1838) and another John(1840)( I assume that they passed at a young age). I was thankful to get baptism records from Waterford Heritage. I'd love to find my missing family and would appreciate any help. Please double-check subject line & snip your messages when replying.
