    1. [WATERFORD] Roll Call - LUBY or LUBEY or LOOBY
    2. For twenty years I have been on the trail of my great uncle (my mother's uncle). He emigrated from Lyrattin, Cappagh, Co. Waterford, IRELAND in 1902 and settled in Yonkers. I eventually traced his Naturalisation papers and his entry in the US 1920 census and then the brick wall. Recently I spent several days trawling through the NY Herald Statesman thanks to the web site of Fulton Postcards and I discovered a wealth of information. A kind gentleman went along to St. Joseph's Cemetery and photographed the burial place of Lawrence and his wife and son, but there is no headstone. I have the info on his four daughters but there is one son (Lawrence Jr.) missing. The family appears in the 1930 US Census under LUBEY but he gives his birth place as Northern Ireland ??. His wife appears to have been only 14 years when she emigrated and 16 when she married?? I am still hunting. Regards, Tony Mc Carthy
