    1. Re: [WATERFORD] Let's try a rollcall FLINN / FLYNN
    2. Looking for the Flinn/Flynn family from Waterford or Wexford. Oldest known relative: John Edward Flinn, b. 28 March 1842 in Enniscorthy, County Wexford...but have been told this family may have come to Wexford from Waterford. To date the following is the closest clue I have to a connection to the birth of a John Flynn/Flinn; this may or may not be the correct "John Flinn" of County Wexford, Ireland ... A Certificate of baptism is on file at the Cathedral of St. Aidan, Enniscorthy, Diocese of Ferns, County Wexford, Ireland that states the following: "According to the Register of baptism kept at the Cathedral, Enniscorthy, JOHN FLYNG son of EDWARD FLYNG & JOANNA MURPHY was born on the xxxx and was baptized according to the rites of the Catholic Church on the 28th March 1840 by Rev. N. Codd. The sponsors were: JOHN LEONARD & MARGARET MURPHY."

    2. Rob Flynn
    3. Hello Listers, My great grandfather William Flynn was born in "Waterford" the son of James and Margaret Flynn. He was baptised in the parish of Dunhill and Fenor on 21 January 1844. We know nothing more until he popped up in Adelaide South Australia in 1876 working as a "mariner" and married my great grandmother, Jane Mc Mahon an immigrant from Co Cavan. Does anyone else have anything on this Flynn family from Dunhill and Fenor please? Cheers Rob Flynn
