My great great grandfather, John Harnett was born in 1794 in Lismore, Co Waterford. Came to Newfoundland around 1817. Have not had much luck with church records...said to have been destroyed in a fire in early 1800's. Ever now an then I put out a call for anyone who has an ancestral connection to Lismore.
