Hello Tony, Thank you so much for the great suggestion. I'll bet that Rev. Arthure knew Fr Patrick (Paddy) Hallinan who died a few years ago. Fr Hallinan of Aughvanlomaun townland was of great assistance when we visited Newcastle Parish in 2003 and 2005 even to the point of driving with me to visit various possible Hally relatives and to cemetaries. Amazing! Another story for another time. And he may also know Fr Uinsean of Mt Melleray Abbey who is the archivist there. Mt Melleray is in the Cappoquin Parish I understand. I will write to Rev.
