Hi everyone, My great grandmother was born in 1867 in Lismore and I saw her birth record through the LDS years ago. Does anyone know if the baptismal records have any other information such as godparents? Hate to pay for something if it offers no additional information. My ancestor Anna was baptised a Johanna. Also Ann/Anne and Nancy are often interchanged - that is something I have not yet figured out. Also the record may not have the mothers surname recorded. Cheryl
I can't speak to what you will get on line, but the baptismal records that I received from the Waterford Heritage Center did include sponsors (godparents). They also include the father's name, the mother's maiden name, a WHC reference number, the baptism date, the priest's name, the parish, the church and the book and page number. -----Original Message----- From: cdynan <cdynan@rcn.com> To: waterford <waterford@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wed, Oct 12, 2011 7:46 am Subject: [WATERFORD] IFHF live and the name Anna Hi everyone, My great grandmother was born in 1867 in Lismore and I saw her birth record through the LDS years ago.
