Hannah's mother, also Anna / Hannah, married a Mr. Hill...Hannah, senior was the daughter of Robin / Robert Bible b. c. 1700. It seems they all lived in Ballyduff, Lismore Parish, Waterford...I have a family record of Robin Bible selling his estate known as "Glenbeg" to a family named Foley c. 1772 in Ballyduff. Robin's wife's name was probably Bridget or " Biddie". She was known as Biddie Bible! Does anyone know the origin of the surname "Bible"? Does anyone know of another person with the Bible surname in Waterford? It seems unlike an Irish name to me... ...also, if you recognize the other names listed above, please let me know! Thanks!
