    3. Jim, Although Kilsheelan appears in the Waterford & Lismore records, it is not in Co. Waterford, but in Co. Tipperary. As to departure ports, it might have been Waterford City, but more likely Cobh [Cove], Co. Cork, or New Ross, Co. Wexford...or any other port in Ireland, but those are the most likely.     3. interesting. so the diocese of waterford must overlap the civil boundaries of the county. How come when I type in Kilsheelan, Waterford, Ireland Google maps comes up with Kilsheelan, Co. Waterford, Ireland? This is confusing to me.
