It is a great introduction to our museum. You can view the video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6HHLOI5AvRU We would be delighted to get your views and thoughts on the video. Please feel free to leave your comments. In common with nearly all of our projects no one got any pay for their participation. The video was created in partnership with Dungarvan Dramatic Club. It was shot by Dave Lee of www.rememberwhen.ie and it is narrated by Orla Glascott. Waterford County Museum is very grateful for their assistance. This video will be also used on our new web site. -------------- 2. Keep Up To Date With Museum News --------------- Follow Us On Facebook: www.facebook.com/waterfordcountymuseum Follow Our Blog: http://waterfordmuseum.blogspot.com Follow Us On Twitter: http://twitter.com/waterfordmuseum --------------- 3. Do You Want To Be A History Detective? --------------- The Image Archive at www.waterfordcountyimages.org has had quite a lot of photographs added to it recently. In particular we have had a fair few photos of Tramore http://bit.ly/bjC82Z and also photos of Powers Brewery, Dungarvan http://bit.ly/9a8zcy . If anyone wants to do a little bit of historical sleuthing for us, we have a lot of unidentified people and unknown places. Simply do a search for unidentified to find the people and a search for unknown to find the places. If you can help us with information please contact us. I am particularly interested in finding these premises http://bit.ly/du22NV Email: history@waterfordmuseum.ie Phone: 058 45960 Web: www.waterfordmuseum.ie --------------- 4. New Railway And Country House Photos --------------- Thanks to donor Thomas Jones we now have lots of new Railway photos in our image archive. (Mainly of the Tramore Railway Line). Tramore is getting featured heavily in the archive at the moment thanks to Thomas and his generous donation. A substantial donation of photos featuring many of the landed gentry in Waterford (images of their homes, hunting photos etc. quite a few of Woodhouse in Stradbally) are also being put online thanks to an anonymous donor. To view the latest images put online go to www.waterfordcountyimages.org and click view images leaving the search box blank. --------------- 5.
