I am posting this here first before I contact all the AOL people individually. Apparently the "AOL problem" all along was really a Rootsweb originated problem. Rootsweb now tells me: "RootsWeb made changes to their mail system that broke the AOL whitelisting agreement and AOL fixed it after RootsWeb contacted them." Sigh. Seems all is now fixed and you are able to subscribe back in with an AOL address and get a confirmation back and get messages.
