Thank you Bill, I was looking for it in Waterford and a google map search of course turned up nothing. Maybe then you can explain to me how someone from Lisarow comes to be buried at Hackettstown - I maybe new to Irish genealogy but seems a long way to go especially in 1830. Robyn Sydney, NSW
Not really I'm doing Deaths for Lincolnshire England for FreeREG Lincs. England and they bring some of the bodies from other Countries or the ASHES for burial They could of been travelling and died and were buried in the nearest cemetery Bill > Thank you Bill, I was looking for it in Waterford and a google map search > of course turned up nothing. 1830 you say for a burial far from where they were born, not impossible for Irish folk I may even suggest that the person who had resided in Lisarow was originally from Hacketstown, and this is the reason for a return home for burial. around 1830, it is not impossible to see this happening, but you do not say if it was male or female buried in Hacketstown. As that also has a bearing on the reasons for burial in another county Cant give you more answers until I see more input Cheers Cara ----- Original Message ----- From: "Robyn Fulton" <jrfulton@bigpond.net.au> To: <waterford@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, November 23, 2010 2:07 PM Subject: [WATERFORD] Hackettstown Cemetery > Thank you Bill, I was looking for it in Waterford and a google map search > of course turned up nothing.
