Janet Would it be OK to resubscribe everybody myself, assuming that the first batch was for the list and the second batch was for the digest? Ray Marshall Kerry List -----Original Message----- From: waterford-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:waterford-bounces@rootsweb.com]On Behalf Of Janet Crawford Sent: Thursday, November 18, 2010 12:23 PM To: cotipperary@rootsweb.com; waterford@rootsweb.com Subject: [WATERFORD] Rootsweb's AOL problem I am posting this here first before I contact all the AOL people individually. Apparently the "AOL problem" all along was really a Rootsweb originated problem. Rootsweb now tells me: "RootsWeb made changes to their mail system that broke the AOL whitelisting agreement and AOL fixed it after RootsWeb contacted them." Sigh. Seems all is now fixed and you are able to subscribe back in with an AOL address and get a confirmation back and get messages. Please go here and subscribe either under individual messages or digest format: http://lists.rootsweb.ancestry.com/index/intl/IRL/CoTipperary.html If anyone has a problem, please contact me immediately and I will help. On behalf of Rootsweb, I sincerely apologise for the craziness and inconvenience. Janet Please double-check subject line & snip your messages when replying. Sure, Ray. I didn't do it because some of my people switched services, and some may want to change from individual messages to digests, or vice versa. I stand ready to help, however, if anyone needs help.
