In researching Phelans, would anyone have noticed a connection to Boutcher, particularly Mary Anne Boutcher b1859 Waterford?  I would like to solve the mystery of why my ggrandmother put Phelan as one of her names on my gfathers birth certificate.  We do not have any connection to Phelan that I know of.
