I am researching Casements Irish Brigade and the lives of the men that joined it. One of these men was a James Carroll from Waterford I know that he was Private 7453 James Carroll of Royal Irish Regt. It is difficult to be sure in 1911 census , but he would appear to be James Carroll, of 19 Mayors Walk, Waterford, in the 1911 census. If he is this man, then he is the son of Richard and Kate Carroll.T hat gives him aged 18 and a plumber in 1911 Can anyone help me by adding anything else about this man. There were 4 other Waterford men in Irish Brigade, and information on any of them welcome. By definition, they were all prisoners of war in Germany in WW1. And any onformation on them welcome too. 10698 James Kennedy - Private, Royal Irish Regiment 9877 Patrick Holohan - Private, Royal Irish Regiment (he died in captivity in March 1916) 10933 Thomas McGrath, Private, Royal Irish Regiment If you need to know more about the info I have on then, then please email me
