I am researching the following: Robert Ramirez Turner b. 8 Feb 1884 in Florence, AZ d.Apr 1986 in Spokane. He married Fern Older b. 1891 in Minnesota or S. Dakota. She died sometime in the 1950's in Spokane. They were married in Sandpoint, ID in 1912 and had the following children: Lucinda, Francetta, Robert Smith Turner b 2 Feb 1915 d. Oct. 1978 in Oregon, buried in Spokane (my father), Lyle b. 11 Oct 1919 d. Apr 1986, Norman (changed last name to Burgess) and Lola d. in the 1950's in Alaska but I believe she is buried in Spokane. I think most of the children were born in Idaho but a couple of the younger ones may have been born in Montana. I am not sure when they moved to Spokane but they lived on N. Lincoln at one time. Fern's mother Emma Josephine Davis Older may have been living with them at one time and might be buried in Spokane as well. Fern's father Carlos Delos Older d. in 1915 in Sandpoint and is buried there but they can find no death record for Emma there. She was alive when Carlos died in 1915 because she signed the death certificate. My father Robert Smith Turner (Smitty) m. Betty Gene Bryan Martinson b. Nov 1922 in the late 40's dau of Benjamin (Bennie) G. Bryan and Winifred Torney. Betty Gene d. 1962. and is buried in Spokane. She was a nurse and worked at a nursing home (Riverview?) My father was married to a woman named Kitty before my mother and my mother was married to a man named Al Martinson. My father served in the army and then worked for Kaiser Aluminum. I would appreciate any info on the following: 1. Benjamin Bryan: he died very young about 1927 when my mother was only 5. He and Winifred had 2 other children, Robert and Virginia. His brother Walter Bryan also lived in Spokane, they were both on the 1920 census. 2. Torney family: Robert Archibald Torney and Louise Nagle Torney. They both died in Spokane. 3.Emma Josephine Davis Older . Trying to find a death date and place. 4. Any information on this Turner family. I would appreciate any help someone might have.
