I'd send message to Spokane Co and ask for a look up in marriages of a virginia Lorentzen or Abbott there about the time she went to Wa and after. mention you don't know thew man's name. I don't have the Wa Death index. Maybe someone if you give abt time by giving date or abt yr she went to Wa. it will helo for time period.
