Surnames: Frost Classification: Biography Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/3BC.2ACE/1698 Message Board Post: Purchased vintage picture postcard in Spokane at an antique fair recently showing an older gentleman with a head of beautiful white hair, white shirt, tie, vest, and pants, standing in front of his office. On the front of the building below the window it reads: "Reliable Information Regarding the Great Calgary Oil Fields," Stocks in All Leading Companies Bought, Sold." The postcard was never mailed and does not give a signature or name, but someone has written, "My father, J. W. Frost, taken about 1910 at his office in Spokane. Will you kindly return this picture." In the adjoining open doorway of the same building is an electric company with a large sign. Mr. Frost's address appears to read S106A and the electric company is 106. An old Spokane city directory at the Spokane Public Library should be able to pin down this gentleman's identity and business.
