The Spokane library has copies of the 1883,1885,1887 and 1889 Whitman county census and the 1885 and 1887 Spokane County census. There is an index to the Spokane county 1887 census and one is being done for the 1889 Whitman county census. They are also available from Heritage Quest. Charles
