This surname seems a bit strange though. Her parents and sisters back in Norway opted for Jakobsen. Hovd was the name of the farm from which she emigrated. Of course she might have dropped both in favor of Lund. By 1920 I guess that she must have married, but I only know that her husband's first name was Oluf or Olaf. As far as I know she never lived in Oregon.
