Scott, Kansas d. 1917 Deep Creek, Washington] and his wife Mary McCabe came to Spokane in the mid 1880's from the Kansas City, Missouri area. Their children were: * Hurley Howard Davis [b. 1875 Missouri d. 1944 Spokane] married to a Mary Ann, daughter's name not known but son-in-law was George Verdell * Ida Mae Davis [my g-grandmother] [b. 1879 Missouri d. 1931 Walla Walla] married to: 1. George Wonch [b. 1873 MN d. 1914 Spokane] 2. Edward Copeland [b. 1869 Illinois d. 1948 Salem, Oregon] 3. Frederick Gurr [b. 1880 England d. 1920 Stevens County, Washington] * Ernest Davis [b. 1880 Missouri d. Unknown] * Della Evelyn Davis [b. 1881 Missouri d. 1954 Vancouver, Washington] married to James Croswell [b. 1861 Canada d. 1943 Camas Washington] * Ruby L. Davis [b. 1887 in Washington d. 1937 Spokane] married to Harry Sifter and possibly someone with a last name of Henning. After the death of his first wife [Mary McCabe] Nathan Vanoy Davis married to a Cora Worth. They had two children: * Oscar Vanoy Davis [b. 1904] * Leslie Worth Davis At one time Nathan Vanoy Davis owned and operated the Nugget Grocery in Deer Park.
