Anderson At his request, no service will be held for Clarence J. "Andy" Anderson, who died Thursday. He was 73. Hennessey-Smith Funeral home is in charge of arrangements. A lifetime Spokane resident, he graduated from Rogers High School in 1937 and had been a glazier for Evergreen Glass. Mr. Anderson was a member of Hillyard Post 1474, Veterans of Foreign Wars; Spokane Eagles Aerie 2, Spokane Bowling Association and the Painters Union Local 269. He served with the Army during World War II. Survivors include his wife of 22-1/2 years, Ethel; two daughters, Clarice Pool of Lamont, Wash., and Dawneta Dodd of Portland; one brother, Wallace Anderson of Elk, Wash.; one sister, Barbara Van Hoy of Spokane; and three grandchildren. Resident of the community since 1917, Veteran WW II U.S. Army, Eagles Aerie # 2, VFW # 1474, Painters Local # 269. Graduate of Rogers High School, 1937, member of Spokane Bowling Assoc.
