    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Author: RBestrom7380 Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.washington.counties.spokane/5535.2/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Judy I apologize for the other answer given. The ask-a-librarian program searches newspaper files for an hour and then sends results. Since this search involves a death sometime between 1916 (actually late 1915 to the birth of Junior) to 1920, I doubt they'll find the answer in that time period. I'm strongly assuming you already know when Junior was born and already had them in the 1920 census. What you need is a search of the Washington State Death records for the period 1915 to 1920. They are on microfilm, old, hard to read, but sometimes you get lucky. The microfilm is in Soundex order, V525 is the number where you'd find Vincent. You could "Try" the ask-a-librarian system to do a search of the death microfilms from 1915, to look for Arthur Vincent in the V525 list. They "might" find it. If you do try, use this link "http://www.secstate.wa.gov/library/ask.aspx" If you call them, you could ask if they "do" check the death records. Otherwise, you need someone locally to check. Here is a volunteer site: http://www.raogk.com/washingt4.htm . Email ONE of them at a time and ask for help. I do get to the Tacoma library periodically and could check the death records. Let me know if you've had no success and I'll try to do a check in the death microfilms. Ron Bestrom Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
