She was born in New York about June of 1859. Her maiden name was Mary Elisabeth Sowles. Her father was Elias Sowles and her mother was Anna (Hannah) unknown. Anna's second husband was George Campbell. Mary was married to Jacob George Conley around 1875 in Kansas. He died about May 2, 1921, probably in the Spokane, Washington area. Elias died Nov 18, 1887 in Gage County, Nebraska. He was married to Louisa Anna Hadlock Holding at the time of his death. This is the last info I have on Mary's mother: 1910 United States Federal Census about Annie Campbell Name: Annie Campbell Age in 1910: 81 Estimated birth year: abt 1829 (probably 1835) Birthplace: Ireland Relation to Head of House: Wife Father's Birth Place: Ireland Mother's Birth Place: Ireland Spouse's name: George Home in 1910: Marion, Bourbon, Kansas Marital Status: Married Race: White Gender: Female Showed 8 kids with 4 living. ****** Any help that can be provided would be greatly appreciated.
