(There was also a Fred Armstrong). Frank, who's place of birth wasn't given in the article, was married to Mary E. who survived and had 7 daughters and a son listed as survivors. The daughters married surnames include Burroughs, George, Brustin, Sparks, Hansen.... Does this seem to match the Francis you are seeking?
