I did find the record of birth on a Sue Jeanette Miller, Father Con W Miller and Mother Minnie Kinsie. I don't know why but sometimes the mother comes up has Mary Marie. Millie or Minnie could be a nickname. The children mother's last name is Kenzle, misspelled Kinsie in the record. This is not her maiden name. Millie's mother married a man named Kenzle and all of her siblings adopted the name. Yes they did have children born in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois according to the 1900 and 1910 Census information. Harry M. Miller, Born March 1895 Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, USA Roy E. Miller, Born October 01, 1896, Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, USA William Conrad Miller, Born May 29, 1899, Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, USA Earnest Miller, Born Abt 1901, Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, USA Daniel A. Miller, Born August 23, 1902, Washington, USA Louis Charles Miller, Born October 03, 1903, Washington, USA Larry or Thedore Miller, Born Abt 1906, Washington, USA Susie A. Miller, Born Abt 1908, Washington, USA Barney Miller, Born Abt 1912, Washington, USA Pearl L. Miller, Born Abt 1913, Washington, USA Birth dates are from the SSDI and the California Death index. (Mother's maiden name listed has Kenzle or Kenzel) What I was concerned with was the Children born in Washington. I just assumed they would be easy to find in the birth records. I did find a MILLER, Minnie M. 12/24/1940 SR 12 in Spokane Public Library Obituary index for the Spokane Review Newspaper. No Death record listed for her in Washington. She should have been about 64 years old at that time. It is very possible that these were home births and not reported or the birth occured somewhere else. Home Births were very common then. I did find the death record Listing for Conrad W Miller, it is about the right age for him. What did it say in his obituary? Library index does not seem to list his. Some of these children begin to appear in records in Alameda, California begining the 1940's. I just assumed they were of marrying age while living in Spokane, Washington area. I will have to compare birth record dates with no parents listing. I have the marriage record for William C Miller and Millie Kenzle, November 17, 1894, Chicago, Cook County, Illinois. Thanks again and may have to consult those LDS records. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
