From the 1930 census information: Kermit age 26 and Clarice age 23 both born MN, and Marjorie age 17 b. WA, you can narrow down when they moved to WA by these ages to a 6-7 year time span. Look for them in 1910. I guessing Jess and Edith married in Minnesota. 1920 census they are in Spokane WA. He is a motorman for street railway. There is an oldest daughter named Jessie A. who is 17 yrs old b. MN. Jessie A [dau] married J. Arthur Thomas of Spokane 6 June 1920 per WA digital archives [free]. You can see the marriage certificate there. http://media.digitalarchives.wa.gov/WA.Media/jpeg/BA10D5080C587575ECADA3A8E8C9F4AA_1.jpg 1910 they are in Stevens Co WA, just north of Spokane Co. WWI draft registration card: middle name is Orlando; dob 15 Mar 1879. With the above dates, etc, we can deduce that they moved to WA between 1907 [when Clarice was born] and 1910. Regarding census records. Check your local library to see if they have ProQuest census records. If so, all you need is a library card to access. Free. Further research at WA digital archives: Clarice m. Harry L. Olinger, 20 May 1938 in Spokane; Marjorie m. John W. King [cpl] 6 Dec 1943 in Spokane; Kermit C. m1/ Ethel Elizabeth 7 May 1933, m2/ Elsie C Weaver 26 Oct 1955. Edith Alea Poorman d. 4 Nov 1956 Spokane, her parents listed as Jacob Goodman and Martha Limbert. I urge you to look at this website: http://www.digitalarchives.wa.gov/ It's free.
