I was contacted via another message board. Here is part of what I have received regarding my mystery ministers: Spokane Feb. 24, 1905 Bishop D N McInturff, of the People's United Church, has separated himself from his flock, members charge, and the flock is without a church and the bishop has the money derived from the sale of church property in Spokane. He intended to open a new church in Oregon but has decided to settle in Idaho. Nov. 1906 Decision against McInturff After 2 years of litigation, Judge Casey ruled that David N Mcintruff, founder and head of People's United Church, has no connection with nor proper authority over said People's church. The court declares the transfer void by which the church property in this city was exchanged for farm land near Bonners Ferry, Ida., upon which Bishop McIntruff has founded the Alamo Colony. May 17, 1907 McIntruff dethroned as president of "healer colony" in Bonner's Ferry, Ida., with election of G E Townsend. McIntruff was furious and put a curse of condemnation upon all who hand in divesting him of his power. In 1912 Michael E Ferdinand married Berta L Brinnon in Spokane.
