This is what I do know. *He was born Michael Leonard Patrick Kelley / Kelly *Went by the Name Mickey *DOB 21 May 1931 *Parents were John Kelley / Kelly NO DOB and Marie NO MAIDEN NAME OR DOB *His Mother remarried and new Husband changed her children last name to his, Swanbeck. Not sure when this happened or what the new husband's first name was. *Married Frankie LaVon Brooks DOB 14 Apr 1930 *Children: Thomas Michael Swanbeck DOB 6 Jul 1956 and Jerry Swanbeck *Both children were born in Spokane Washington. *Divorced Frankie around 1957 or so. He didn't keep contact with his Children or ex-wife. The only information I have been able to find on him is a possible second marriage to Betty J Hall on 4 Sep. 1958 in Nevada. Listed under Mickey L Swanbeck. My Dad Thomas thinks that he might have served in the merchant Marines some time after he divorced Frankie (first wife). But this information didn't come from a very reliable person, so we are unsure. I have hit a dead end so ANY information will be very helpful. I was really surprised to find her obit, before 1900 few obits appeared in our newspapers. Frederick and Fayette Butts are both buried at Riverside Cemetery accoring to their obits. Note Riverside and Greenwood Cemeteries are just across the street from each other. Early on they were ran separately, but today they have combined operations and also a couple of other cemeteries are in that group. Charles P.S. 1. [WASPOKAN] MOORE Family photograph
    2. Shelley Cardiel
    3. I've "rescued" an old photograph of Lathun MOORE which was taken at the Elite Studio in Spokane, Washington. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1890's or early 1900's with Lathun appearing to be about 3 years old at the time the photograph was taken. I am hoping to locate someone from his family so that this wonderful old photograph can be returned to the care of family. If you are a member of this family, or you know someone who might be, please contact us. Thanks, Shelley

    1. [WASPOKAN] Amidon, Butts and Leonard families 1900 - 1930
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Author: loradpeppers Surnames: Amidon, Butts, Leonard, Blass Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.washington.counties.spokane/5827/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Looking for anyone researching these families. Lettisa A. Kellam Butts Amidon was the mother of four children: Anna, Adelaide, Frederick W. and Virginia, children of her first marriage to Simeon G. Butts. Simeon was murdered in Louisiana and Lettisa remaried, but never had any other kids. After the death of her third husband Alfred Amidon in 1898 (Branch Co. MI), she moved to Spokane, WA to live with daughter Virginia's family. She died November 28, 1917 and was buried in Greenwood Cemetery. Son Frederick Butts (b. Apr. 12, 1862)also moved to Spokane and married his first cousin, Fayette Shippy. They had no apparent children. Frederick died in Spokane October 16, 1930. I don't know where he is buried. Youngest daughter Virginia Butts (b. March 16, 1865) also lived in Spokane. She married Alfred B. Leonard. They had two sons: Lewis Yoder Leonard (July 25, 1887 - Nov. 1966) and Harold LaVerne Leonard (July 9, 1894 - March, 1980). Harold had two sons: Harold Boyd Leonard and David Kenneth Leonard. Virginia died of pneumonia in Spokane, April 14, 1897 and her husband later remarried. Alfred and his second wife are buried together in Greenwood Cemetery. I don't know where Virginia is buried. The other two daughters seemed to remain behind in Branch Co. MI. I have been unable to find anything on oldest daughter Anna, and Adelaide married William C. Blass. they had three children together. Any of this ring a bell? Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
