Hjalmar and Emma married in 1921 - in the 1930 census - only one child is mentioned of which is Mildred and she is 8 years old. If they had had other children - there would have been others listed in the census. In Mildred's obituary of 1948 - there are no siblings mentioned - only the parents and Mildred's aunt. I would think that since they mentioned the aunt - they would have also listed siblings as well. I checked to see if any of their childred died young but I could not find any. It is unusual for a couple back then - before birth control - to have only one child. And then also she died young - I tried to find out why she died young - such as an accident - but I couldn't find it in the newspaper. One way to find out why she died young would be to get a death certificate and her death would be mentioned on that. Could also get death certificates for Hjalmar and Emma and if they had had other children - it may be listed on that as the next of kin.
