Franklin BOYD who was in office at least from 1914 onward for his first term. Frank Boyd is somehow connected to the Whittemore (various spellings) family that in 1870 was living in Brown County, IL. Frank was living with the Jonas Whitmore family in Missouri Twp. and in that census he was listed as age 10. I have a copy of a letter Frank wrote to his cousin John Whitmore, brother to Jonas Whitmore. It is dated Nov. 18, 1914 and Frank has just been elected to the legislature for WA state. I also have a xerox copy of a clipping about Frank drafting a bill. This copy also includes a picture of Frank.
