    3. If they were living in Odessa, they may have gone to that county seat Court house which may have been Moses Lake and got the License. The license in any Court House in the State can be used to marry in any city in the state. Look on a map and see what county Odessa is in. and the Court house in that county of Odessa may be where they got the license but got mar in Spokane. I was living in Renton Wa and went to Benton County, Wa with new spouce when he lived in Franklin Co to get lisence and get married in 1968 but div in 1980. They also could have gone to Court house at Pasco , Wash as not far from Odessa. My last marriage I was living in Pierce Co but we went to Lewis Co to get our licence and made application all in same dayon 2 Jan 2000. We did this because we wanted to be the first to get and file appliction in Lewwis Co in 2000 as my Garandparents lived in Toledo in 1887 and I wanted to go there to the same place they did. i also got to make a note of this on the application etc which to me was a nice thing to be able to be first in Lewis Co to apply and get mar lic in 2000 in Lewis Co. and record on my app. that my granparents with names and date also did. Genealogy wise. Maxine Wilton in Roy Wa. mmwaw@sprynet.com There are 3 things for a marriage. 1..... application 2.... certificate to marry 3.... return of service which usually may be across both pages of a registrar Book. It would contain 1... parents names , 2... place of residences of both parties, 3... place married, also date 4...names of those who stood up for them. 5... may contain other imfo besides bride and groom. Many people forget to ask for each one of these separately. All court hoses may not have all these??? Ask anyway. Maxine Wilton.
