Is there anyone on the list who could look up an obit for: (1) NEWTON JASPER ROBERTSON who died November 19, 1928 in Spokane, Spokane Co., WA. (2) SADIE E. [SARAH ELLEN] ROBERTSON who died June 6, 1970 and is buried in Riverside Memorial Park. I have her death certificate. Some background info: SADIE MONTGOMERY and NEWTON JASPER ROBERTSON married in Nez Perce Co. ID in 1907. I believe they were living in Spokane by 1910 but were definitely there in 1920 per the census. NEWTON was born November 07, 1878 in Springfield, MO, a son of GEORGE WILLIAM ROBERTSON and SIRILDA DUNCAN. SADIE was the daughter of MARY WADDELL PEACE ALBERT. Her father's first name is unknown. The children of Newton and Sadie, per the 1920 census, were: OPAL C ROBERTSON, b. 1908. BONNIE M ROBERTSON, b. 1911. LEROY ROBERTSON, b. 1914. MYAL ROBERTSON, b. 1919.

Hi there My husband's grandmother's sister MINNIE WHITE nee WALTERS was a resident at the CHENEY CARE CENTER in part of the 70's and/or 80's. I have three photos of her there. He was in the Spokane Falls area in 1878. He appears in a news article in 1915 as owning extensive land and farming operations and had just purchased the Cheney Garage. He and his wife sold the garage to the Barnett brothers and according to a seperate article were living in Corning, CA. in 1917. He was also involved in some action of the courts in 1917 involving a purchase of a city lot. His co-plaintiff was Barbara Beneke??? His land holdings appear to be south of Spokane. He also was in the Pine City area of Whitman Co. Any information will be helpful and greatly appreciated.
