    3. Great piece of work! The young girl that would have grown up to be my aunt was listed although she died in 1897 and her surname, like mine, begins with "B". And there was other family inofrmation I did not have. "Woflifort", however, is the most singular transcription of "WOHLFORT" That I have yet come across! My cousins who collect name variants are going to love this one!! Thanks! 1. [WASPOKANE] BRUNK / AUNE ??
    2. M Brunk
    3. Hi all, I have just begun researching my husbands family. This is my first time researching in the US. ( I have done plenty of Canadian research). So I apologize if I'm unaware of many of the resources or how best to obtain them. The family I am searching (which is scant at the moment) is Louis BRUNK he married Ethel AUNE (?) sometime before 1936 when the first child was born in Spokane. Ethel died in 1963 and Louis died about 1970 both in Spokane. Louis's father's name was Martin BRUNK he died about 1958 in Spokane. Ethel AUNE's father was John AUNE. I guess my best bet is to start with the 1930 census and work backwards. Does anyone know of this family? Thank you, Mary-Ann Brunk
