    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: RUSSELL, LAWSON, ROMINE, FISHER, FRANKS Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/3BC.2ACE/1820 Message Board Post: Herbert L. Smith born 1898 in Oregon and married to Lela May born 1900 in Tenn. I think Herbert was the son of Mary Ann (Russell)born 1877 and William H. Smith born 1875. Herbert and Lela May lived in Spokane at least from 1923 to 1937 that I know of. When Mary Ann died in 1931 in a Spokane hospital from cancer, her husband was staying at Herbert's address on Magnolia Street. Mary Ann and William's residence on her death certificate was really Mullan, Idaho. Smith is a common name but hoping for more pieces in the puzzle. Need the name of Mary Ann and William's other two son's--one born Nov. 24, 1899.

    3. I don't know the given name [ possibly Ivan], but a friend of my mothers, namely, Edna Clark, who lived in Chewelah, WA., was married to a , Mr. Parker. I guess that means that there was a "Parker" who lived in , Chewelah, WA., at one time..about the late '40's. Fruitland, is not that far from Chewelah. Edna and her husband had twin boys, Willard and Ivan Parker. j lerch ----- Original Message ----- From: <T2andkhoward@aol.com> To: <WASPOKAN-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, September 22, 2002 7:26 PM Subject: [WASPOKANE] FRUITLAND, WA (near spokane) > This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > > Classification: Query > > Message Board URL: > > http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/3BC.2ACE/1816 > > Message Board Post: > > I am searching for B.F. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/3BC.2ACE/1646.1 Message Board Post: I am descended from Nicholas Georger's sister Eugenie Georger Roos and am myself looking for information on Nicholas and his descendants. Nicholas Georger died June 2, 1957 in Spokane, WA. I have his obituary if you are interested. It said he had been a member of the community for 67 years. Nicholas' sister Eugenie's obituary stated that he was living in Missoula at the time of her death in 1917. I also found a burial record the other day: Holy Cross Cemetery Spokane County, Washington Contributed by Maggie Rail [mrail@cet.com]. Georger, Barbara, bur. Feb 10, 1955, C-3316-1/1 Georger, Nicolas, bur. Jun 04, 1957, C-3316-1/2 http://interment.net/data/us/wa/spokane/holycross/holycross%5Fgegl.htm The curious thing is that the little info I have on his descendants and wife do not mention Barbara or her children. Was this a second marriage for him? Michelle Goodrum Mesa, AZ

    1. [WASPOKANE] William Averill, d. 1935
    2. Rex
    3. Hello Waspokan listers . . . My only connection to Spokane is that my great grandfather, William Averill (or sometimes Averel) went there to live with his son Allan in 1925 after his wife (Marian Clow) died in Rhinelander Wisconsin, where they had been living for many years. William died in Spokane in 1935, probably in early October, aged 89. He was born in Maine in September or earlier of 1846, the oldest of 5 children of Luther and Sarah Averill. The possibility of my visiting Spokane is pretty slim at present, so any help in finding a death record or obituary on William would be much appreciated. As well, any record on his son Allan Averill or Allan's wife, whose first name was Dell (possibly short for Delilah). Thanks for any help, leads, suggestions, whatever . . . Rex, stuck in the sticky, endless summer of Tallahassee, Florida
