I was told after that her tribe dis-owned her. He moved her to McCreary (then Whitley) county, Kentucky. I don't know her name. I am trying to find out what tribe she was from. Where do I start. His wife's name was Almeda (White) but had nickname of Meady or similar. He had a farm & small grocery store. They had 13 children but I only know the names of sons Grover, Ottus, & Perrin--- (daus.) Elizabeth, Ocie and a daughter who married Byron Denny and lived in Calif. The family was from Harrison Co., Missouri. Abner's father was Moses Johnson. I'm looking for descendants or other info about the family

She moved here from WI with her sister Vida (HAYES) Peasley and Vida's husband Delos PEASLEY, and other sister Myrtle E. (HAYES) RICHEY. Viola was married to Gordon RICE. I am stuck in one place.     3. I find there are three McDevitt burials at Fairmount Cemetary Peace Abbey Crypts. John McDevitt-1918 Gertrude McDevitt - 1916 Mary Jane McDevitt-1933 This is all the person I called at the cemetary was able to give me. How would I go about finding more information on these three to detrmine if they are "my " McDevitts ? Thanks in advance for your help, Maureen
