    3. Charles You seem very knowledgeable on Spokane. I had to reply to this posting because my father helped build the Grand Coulee Dam when he married my mother, they were chevered (spelling?) down the main street of the small town. Their names were Arnold and Alice Harty. 3. It depends upon what kind of an institution. It also could have been Edgecliff Sanatorium, which is Spokane ESH is in Medical Lake, for mental problems, Edgecliff was for TB treatment, Also could be any of the various Nursing homes, depends upon what type of care she needed. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/3BC.2ACE/1820.1.1 Message Board Post: I just saw your reply about having the obit for Mary Ann Smith and it lists two sons, Orvel R. and Earl E. That actually fits the facts as I know them, I was told she had two boys. I had found the birth certificate for one but without a first name. From her death certificate I found the address on 3925 N Manolia and the City Directory had Herbert and May Smith as residents their. While William and Mary Ann's actual home was in Mullan Idaho which goes along with earlier obits of other family members. So I assumed that Herbert was a son since I didn't have a name to go by. Perhaps he was Williams brother or a nephew. Thanks for clearing this up and providing her sons names. Could I get a copy of the obit? Or the date of it at least. Where did you find it? You may email me directly.
