I am having difficulties in finding it elsewhere. Please let me know if there is anywhere else I could try.

Both the Holland Library at Pullman and the Library at EWU at Cheney have a lot of Eastern Washington Newspapers, but you really need to check that book. Charles

I have asked the Washington St. library and they cannot find it. I heard that it was called the Rockford Registar.Does anyone know somewhere around Spokane I can get it? I don't believe the downtown library has it either.

Before he was in Washington he was in Kansas with John Brown against slavery, so he had a long and interesting life. Charles

Problem is the scanner is connected to my husband's machine LOL. But I will endeavor to do so by the end of this week, if I have to wrap him in Xmas lights to do so - hehe. Your information is correct, Barbara Lemmerich Schmidt married Ralph Wilbur Prosser - altho I dont know when or where this event took place at this time. They were in Malden, WA in the 1910 census and later moved to Spokane, WA. Their only children were Wallace Walter Prosser and Ralph Harry Prosser. Grandma was always a beautiful lady, always had a smile, and more friends than I could ever remember. Not sure when Grandpa passed away, will need to question my brother Butch (Ralph William). He has information firsthand, as he is still in Spokane, and Im all the way down here in Texas. Anyway, Grandma lived near the Gonzaga University Campus. She ran a boarding house for as far back as I can remember, and loved having the young people around all the time. The house was on a corner lot, and at Christmas I always remember she had the biggest tree I could imagine. And had to have baked for days with all the goodies she had out when we were there. Uncle Wally (Born March 16, 1924 in Malden, WA; died April 1990 in Spokane, WA) married Eleanor Lorraine Barr (Aunt Lorraine) and they had 6 children, Kathleen Irene Prosser, Lorraine Barbara Prosser, Wallace Walter Jr (deceased), Colleen Ray Prosser, William Michael Prosser (deceased), and Mary Ann Prosser. Wally was a Police Officer for the Spokane Police Department. Ralph Harry (Born March 23, 1921 in Malden, WA; died July 26, 1992 in Spokane, WA) was my father. He married Bertha Broberg Pellanda Prosser (born February 14, 1922, died June 28, 1962 Spokane, WA. 10 children, Ralph William (Butch) - born April 14, 1944, Audrey Eileen - July 18, 1945, Glen Raymond - born 1948, Marlene Kay - born July 13, 1949, Nancy Beatrice - born Dec 4, 1952, John Robert - born Feb 27, 1953, Sharon Marie (twin) - born July 18, 1955, Mary Irene (twin) - born July 18, 1955, Sandra June - born July 9, 1956 and Patrick Allen Prosser - born May 1960. They moved from Spokane to Havre, MT for a while - he worked for the Railraod there. We moved back to Spokane when I was 5 years old. My dad was a machinist, and worked for Union Ironworks, and Kaiser Aluminum. Amazingly enough we are all still hale and hearty. And prolific as most Prosser's seem to have been. Hope this helps. Sharon

I am looking information on her descendants. I do have a scanned photo of Barbara before she married her first husband, Guilelmus Schmidt. She was a very attractive woman when she was young. The only children I have listed for Barbara and her first husband Giulelmus are William and George. The only children I have with her second husband are Ralph and Wallace. I am have gotten this information from the 1920 Federal Census for Spokane Co. I also have a few facts from the SSDI, Cemetery info for Barbara, and recollections from Richard Lemmerich and Mary Schumacher. Richard and Mary would be a neice and nephew to Barbara. THey are both 104 years old and still alive and feisty! I have contacts with other researchers of Henry Lemmerich and Johanna Flory, namely Miles Kohle. He would be a great-great nephew to Barbara. Johanna and Barbara were sisters. Barbara Lemmerich is also a neice to my 2xgreat grandmother, Anna Maria Lemmerich and is also a neice to my 2xgreat grandfather. It is a double relation. Barbara is a double first cousin to my great-grandmother, Hattie Ackerman Adam. If you would like I could put you in touch also with Miles. Please write me by email. Sarah
