    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Baquet, Tanco, McNeil, Howell, Morris, Burton, MacLam Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/3BC.2ACE/1907 Message Board Post: Hello Spokane researchers... I am trying to gain information on my "Burton" relatives before and after the following census information. "Josephine" is listed in the index, however, her husband "James H" which I believe may be Hervery (or similar) is not - the enumerator drew arrows indicating that they were in the wrong order. Josephine M. "Nina" Tanco married twice and is living with the second and last husband in this census. The first marriage was to a man with the surname "Howell" and they had a daughter named Madeleine H. who is also shown in this census. Felicia Helen Burton is younger and shown on the next page. Josephine and James H. are living with her biological mother Madeleine Baquet Tanco McNeil and her stepfather Seneca McNeil, the census data follows: * 1910 Census of Washington; SPOKANE County; 4-WD SPOKANE; Series T624; Roll 1671; Page 168 McNeil, Seneca head, m, w, 60, m1, Missouri, NY, LA Madeleine H. wife, f, w, 68, m2, NY, French, NY (he has married 1x, she 2x's, together 20 yrs, she has had 5 children, 3 living) - (enumerator notes the dwelling is located on Boone Avenue - his occupation/merchant-grocer; her occupation bookkeeper/grocery store) Burton, Josephine dau, f, w, 36, m2, Cuba-Am Cit, NY James H. s/in/law, m, w, 37, m1, Ohio, US, US (Josephine married 2x; James married 1x; they have been together for 10 years; she has had 2 children; 2 living) - (Occupations for the above couple: He is fireman/fire dept - she/none) Howell, Madeleine g/dau, f, w, 19, single, TX, Kentucky, NY (occupation: none) ----NEXT PAGE--- Burton, Felicia H. g/dau, f, w, 8, single, WA, OH, NY (The family appears on the first page taken by the enumerator "Lizzie A. Sheliton?" on the very first day of the 1910 Census - April 15th; the listing is split as Felicia Helen in the first line in the next page) The second daughter of Josephine "Nina" and James H", Felicia Helen Burton married William James MacLam. Her half sister Madeleine H. Howell married Anthony William Morris. This couple had no known children. Since I am not a "Burton" or researcher or familiar with Spokane, WA... If anyone has any data on this family I would certainly appreciate some input!!! I've put up a list of the papers at http://www.wallandbinkley.com/wheatley/catalog.html; just search for "Julia" and "Marshall" to find all the references. Unfortunately, most of these papers were preserved by a third sister, Mary, who didn't get along with Julia, so there isn't much about her. Are you interested in the Wheatley family, or just Marshall? All the best, Peter

Her parents are also buried there. I have information listing her husband as Frank Leroy Burson and a son, Howard Howell Burson. I am seeking information on Frank and son Howard to try to locate relatives as they are part of my family. I found in the SSDI records that Howard passed away in the year 2000 and his wife Archina, passed away in 2002. They were living in King Co., WA. I am trying to find children or grandchildren of these folks and trying to find a death record for Frank Burson as well. I have been to Wayside Cemetery and found the graves of Jesse, Adora Jane Howell, and Charlotte H. Burson. I am related to the Howell line through Wm. Henry Howell, father of Jesse. My ancestor Thomas Howell, my 2nd g-grandfather and brother of Jesse Howell.
